To celebrate New Brunswick's 225th birthday, "Anna's Garden Party" will be held at the historic McClelan Manor in Riverside-Albert on Saturday, July 4, from 12 noon - 4:00 p.m. Lt. Gov. Hermenegilde Chiasson will be in attendance and His Honour will plant a commemorative maple tree in McClelan Park. Other activities include: heritage displays, horse and wagon rides, tours of McClelan Manor and the Riverside Consolidated School. There will be musical entertainment and refreshments for all. Everyone is welcome to this "free" community celebration. Bring your lawn chair.

The Albert County Historical Society's annual Quilt Show and Sale is a visit you shouldn't miss! Drop in and see quality quilts, quilt tops, crib quilts and many, many smaller hand-crafted sewn articles. The show is to be held in the Community Hall in Hopewell Cape only one part of the newly restored Albert County Museum Complex on Rte 114, just two miles before The Rocks. Show dates are July 7-11, Tuesday to Friday 9:30 a.m.to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Admission only $2. No charge for children aged 12 and under. All profit realized go for museum maintenance and programs.

This summer, the Thomas Williams House will be offering four exciting day camps for children ages 5 to 8! NB Sport Academy Brings Breakdance, Gymnastics and Kids Yoga to Summer Camps! For its 3rd edition, NB Sport Academy summer camps will bring new and exciting activities to 5-12 year olds. This year, Terry Du, break dance teacher and 2008 winner of the Amateur Atlantic Dance Competition, Lise Bourgeois, kids yoga teacher and gymnast Caroline Bertrand, member of 2007 gymnastic Canada Games Team will share their expertise with the young campers. These fun activities will be offered in addition of 'classic' sports such as mini-volley, badminton, track and field, soccer and basketball. NB Sport Academy Summer Camps will be held at the "Le Mascaret" middle school (50, Léopold Belliveau Dr., Moncton ) between July 6 and 30, 2009.
