Cadets celebrate with annual review
The Byron Dobson Arena will be the setting for the Moncton 101 Air Cadet Annual Review, beginning at 1:45 p.m. and running until 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Awards will be handed out, and the cadets will be show-casing what they have accomplished during the year.
Riverview violinist tours with Anne Murray
For three Maritime concerts, Terri Surette was part of Anne Murray's eleven-piece back-up orchestra. Pretty exciting stuff for a young music student. The tour played in Moncton, Charlottetown, and wound up in Halifax on April 18.
Hackmatack author gives reading
The Riverview Public Library will be hosting children's author Larry Verstraete during his tour of New Brunswick in April. The tour is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, which enables Canadian audiences to discover artists from other regions and provinces.
